Re Yammer...

I&#039;ve been using it since September with one of the companies I work with. It works well as the people in the company are distributed around the world, not sharing an office, so great for updating people on stuff and asking questions. People say, and I agree, it makes you feel much more part of the team.

My former colleagues at the BBC tell me they&#039;re using it pretty heavily too.

Whereas at BT they prefer to use the Twitter groups they&#039;d already set up.</description>

		<description>Yammer has not really taken off here. I think because we are heavy users of ichat, Yammer is seen as an additional step. Also it&#039;s not that immediate if the desktop app isn&#039;t installed. I like the idea but it needs several champions to get it going.</description>
